The epidemic continues to be under control, and the government further relaxes the social distance measures. The third phase of relaxation will be implemented on May 31, 2022. Bars, karaoke, party rooms and other places will be reopened, including yacht services. Yacht Holimood‘s products will also follow the latest epidemic policy arrangements to open appointments, you can enjoy the hot summer!
FAQ:
1. After the latest relaxation, how many people can the yacht accommodate?
Yachts belong to the category of Party rooms, and the latest capacity limit from the 19th of May is 75%. For example, the original maximum passenger capacity of the yacht is 40 people. Under the restriction of epidemic prevention measures, the maximum passenger capacity of the yacht will become 30 people. As the government updates the policy from time to time, please refer to the government press release for the latest details.
2. Do I need to use “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app and show vaccination records when entering the yacht? Also, do I need to wear a mask?
Yes. According to the measures in Cap. 599F, guests need to use “LeaveHomeSafe” when guests are on the yacht and show the vaccination records before boarding. Guests must wear masks during activities on board, except when eating at the table.
See the following table for vaccination requirements:
Details can be viewed on the government website.
3. Can I arrange cancellation or refund if I / my family is diagnosed with COVID-19 or become a close contact or if the building is enclosed?
If a guest is unfortunately infected with COVID-19 and wishes to cancel or reschedule his/her reservation, the guest must comply with the terms and conditions of the service. Before making an appointment, guests should carefully consider the possible impact and risks of the epidemic situation and epidemic prevention measures, and bear the relevant risks. If the guest wishes to apply for cancellation or rescheduling before departure, the guest must still follow the service terms and details of the “cancellation policy” on the product page. If the service cannot be provided on the departure day due to the influence of the government’s epidemic prevention policy, it can only be changed for a limited period without refund in accordance with the relevant guidelines issued by Yacht Holimood.
4. If the “Capacity Limit of Premises” of social distance measures is narrowed in the future, can we arrange a rescheduling or refund?
If the social distance measure is narrowed again, the number of guests who can board the ship will change with the “Capacity Limit of Premises” set by the government. The reduction in the passenger capacity of the yacht will not affect the trip. Guests will have to start on schedule.
According to the pricing methods of different yacht packages, the cost of additional people may be refunded at that time(* Please see the following remarks). Everything must follow the “Capacity Limit of Premises” arrangement under the government’s latest epidemic prevention measures. For details, please refer to the government press release.
*Remarks
Situation 1:Uniform Charge
According to the calculation method of uniform charge, the yacht fee will not be changed due to the restrictions of epidemic prevention measures. For example, if 100% of the passenger capacity of yacht is 40 persons and the price calculation method itself is a uniform charge for 40 persons or less, the charge will remain unchanged, that is, there will be no refund of the cost of additional people, regardless of whether the last number of people on board is 75%(i.e. 30 persons)after the current limit or narrowed to 50%(i.e. 20 persons)in the future.
Situation 2:Based price for the specified number of people + additional price for extra head
Another calculation method is that yachts are charged at based price for specified number of people + additional price for extra head, and yacht fee will be changed under the restrictions of epidemic prevention measures. For example, 100% of the passenger capacity of yacht is 40 people, and the based price for 20 persons on weekdays is $5800. The current charge for 75% capacity (i.e. 30 persons) is $8700($5800 + $290 X 10 persons). If the “Capacity Limit of Premises” is reduced to 50% (i.e. 20 persons) in the future, the charge can be refunded to the additional number of persons($290 X 10 persons), that is, only $5800 (i.e. 20 persons) need to be paid.
5. If the government closes public entertainment places again(bar or pub, bathhouse, party room, club and nightclub, Karaoke establishment, Mahjong-tinkau premises and cruise ship, etc.), how will the order be arranged?
If the service cannot be provided on the departure day due to the influence of the government’s epidemic prevention policy, the boarding day can only be changed for a limited period without refund in accordance with the relevant guidelines issued by Yacht Holimood.
