After about a 35-minute ferry ride, you’ll arrive at Sok Kwu Wan Pier (some people would also get off at Yung Shue Wan Pier and walk to Sok Kwu Wan).
There are many restaurants and handicraft shops near Sok Kwu Wan Street where you can have some seafood or buy some authentic souvenirs.
Walk along the Lamma Island Family Trail, and you’ll arrive at the Viewing Pavilion in about an hour. You can have a clear view of Ocean Park, Lantau Island, Cheung Chau Island, and other nearby islands.
A few minutes’ walk from there, you’ll see the Wind Power Station. It’s worth taking a look at how “stylish” it is!
Continue walking for about 20 minutes, and you’ll reach Hung Shing Yeh Beach. The water is clear, and the sand is fine. Many people come here to swim and sunbathe. Even if you don’t want to swim, you can take a rest here, enjoy the sea view, and feel the sea breeze and sunshine (the sunset view is the most beautiful!)
